Forgotten Playland is a free-to-play multiplayer party game that caught our attention at Gamescom, with its vibrant energy and unique charm, its more than a MarioParty at PC.
Players step into the shoes—well, paws—of the PlushKyns, abandoned plush toys that transform a dusty attic into a whimsical, competitive playground. Developed by Vermillion in partnership with Duckland Games and the Beam Foundation.

Setting and Gameplay Overview
Set in a lively attic-turned-playground, Forgotten Playland centers on its bustling Social Hub—a dynamic space split into themed areas like the Space Disco, Jungle Camp, Beach Bar, and Train Station. Here, players can meet friends or strangers, customize their PlushKyns with a wealth of cosmetic options, and dive into fast-paced mini-games. The core experience revolves around short, action-packed rounds where teams of up to four compete in over 20 distinct mini-games, ranging from hectic races and point battles to silly elimination challenges.
Features
Diverse Party Games: Enjoy a constantly evolving roster of 24 multiplayer mini-games (more to come), including wild showdowns like Bomb Tag, Prop Hunt, Dino Dentist, and the fan-favorite Bump-A-Ball, where players scramble to stay balanced on shrinking platforms.
Customization & Collectibles: Deep customization lets players tweak their PlushKyn’s appearance—change skin, ears, head, eyes, and more—while unlocking exclusive cosmetics, emotes, banners, and avatars via a robust battle pass system.
Social Hub & Themed Zones: The main attic hub is a vibrant space for gathering, chatting, and prepping for the next game, with themed zones adding personality and playful discovery to each session.
Dynamic In-Game Economy: The $FP token underpins the game’s economy, supporting events, seasonal battle passes, tradable Toybox cosmetic collections, and more for extended replay value.
