Review: Demolish and Build 3 for Xbox (2025)

I was genuinely excited for Demolish and Build 3. The premise sounded perfect for me: demolish buildings, operate heavy machinery, run your own construction company. Unfortunately, after three hours of trying to play, I barely got to experience any of what the game has to offer.

Major Issues

The biggest problem? The game constantly freezes on loading screens. Sometimes right after launching, sometimes when switching between missions—it’s completely unreliable. I restarted my console multiple times and even reinstalled the game, but the issues persisted. Out of three hours, I spent maybe half an hour actually playing.

First Impressions

What little I did see shows promise. The mechanics seem interesting, the machines feel authentic, and the game appears as though it could be motivational in the long term. But in its current state, Demolish and Build 3 is practically unplayable on the Xbox Series X.

Verdict

I really hope the developers patch things up soon, because for now, I simply can’t recommend the game—at least not for Xbox users. Technically, it’s a complete failure at this time.

Conclusion:

Demolish and Build 3 on Xbox Series X – Disappointing Despite Potential

Demolish and Build 3 for Xbox Series X promised much with its engaging concept of demolition, heavy machinery, and construction management. However, technical problems overwhelmingly overshadow any potential. Frequent crashes and freezes prevent meaningful gameplay, making the experience frustrating and unreliable.

A real shame: under different circumstances, this could have been a standout simulation title. Until major fixes arrive, it’s difficult to recommend to console players.

Score: 2 / 10

Unplayable in current state, despite a good idea.
